10 Favorites For Now & Summers To Come

I’m very big on quality over quantity in every aspect of my life, but especially in what I choose to spend my money on.  Quality doesn’t always mean breaking the bank either.  It means choosing something well made that won’t deteriorate with multiple wears.  Because why else have it if you’re not going to wear it constantly, right?  Considering we only get about 4 warm months out of the year, I am very picky about my summer wardrobe.  I want it to be to the point, versatile, and long lasting.  The goal is to not have to re-buy the majority of the staples, whatever that looks like to you.  Anyways, I think I have officially nailed my perfect summer closet this year and I wanted to share the clothes and accessories I find myself constantly reaching for (in no particular order).

  1. Christopher Esber Jo PVC Flip Flops - I can confirm that these are worth the price.  So I did not expect these to be as comfortable as they are considering they are totally flat.  But I have been throwing them on every time I walk out the door.  The minimalist style is so flattering and I love the color against tan skin.

  2. Toteme Embroidered Silk Set - I purchased this set last summer from the NY Flagship and let me tell you.. It has served me well.  I have brought it on every single vacation since then and have worn constantly throughout this summer.  I love wearing it as a matching set or breaking it apart and wearing each individual piece on its own.  This set was most certainly an investment piece, but I already know I will be wearing it for summers to come.

  3. Crochet Raffia Sun Hat - You will almost always catch me in a sun hat when it’s warm out.  This one from Jenni Kayne has been my go-to for 2 summers now (and counting). It goes with anything and everything.  I love it in black too.  If you’re always looking for a way to protect your skin and stay chic, look no further.

  4. Vintage Pocket Tee - Another Jenni Kayne favorite that I think I own in every single color.  That’s how much I love it.  In my day to day I need an easy, clean tee that I can throw on with anything no matter what.  These tees are them.  Not just for summer either, I wear these year round.  I love a good t-shirt.  Especially when it’s GOOD.  STYLISTCHECK15 for 15% off on every Jenni Kayne order.

  5. Dragon Diffusion Bag - I’ve been on the hunt for a summer bag that checks off the following boxes: goes with almost anything, fits all my things, adds character to my usually simple looks, and has no logos.  I think I have finally found one that does all of those things.  I love the bright red woven leather.  And I know this bag will only get better with age.

  6. Ischia Dress in Navy - Less harsh than black.  I went with navy because quite frankly, if I chose white I knew I would’ve had to wear a bra, and I wanted to be as comfortable as humanly possible in this dress.  I am so beyond comfortable and confident in this dress that I could wear it from sunup to sundown.  I love this with a flip flop for day and a thong heel for night.

  7. Nili Lotan Shon Pant in Green - I don’t know but a jean in the summer doesn't sit right, but I love a pant.  These are so comfortable and light and I’m a sucker for an olive green color all year round.  I wear them with sandals / heels and a tank top.  It’s effortless and perfect.

  8. Posse Amelia Shift Mini Dress - Also comes in a long version which is beautiful.  I love the square neckline and wide scalloped edges.  So flattering and airy for the hottest summer days and nights.

  9. The Row Constance Sandal - My go-to for every night out in the summer.  I have had these for about 2 years now and I still reach for them over everything else in my closet.  Unfortunately since they are an old style, they are not available anymore unless you find them secondhand.  But the shape is what really does it for me.  I love these from Reformation, or these other ones from The Row achieve the same look.

  10. Khaite Medium Olivia Raffia Bag - You can’t talk about summer without raffia.  I love this one in particular because of the sleek shape and ideal size.  It works from day to night and takes you from the beach to dinner.  I love a one stop shop and this bag is that.  It works for every single outfit which makes it worth the price point.  I know I will have this forever.
